Topic - Thinking about the world of work

At the end of last term, we invited Claire Sim from 'The Orkney Employment Consultancy' to speak to our class about the world of work - we had lots of questions about employment and the decisions we will need to make later in our school life. 
'Why do you need a job?'
'How do you find one?'
'How do you decide what job is the right one for you?'

Claire explained to us how important it is to think carefully about what job we would like to do in the future, and we discussed what our future goals might be when we are adults.  We also thought about what job we might like to do when we grow up and why.
